TopCV provides online tools and services related to creating, uploading, storing, editing, and managing CVs, résumés, and related professional content.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
2. Eligibility

- 18 years old in other jurisdictions
to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content (CVs and Data You Upload)
By uploading User Content, you grant TopCV a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display the content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You retain full ownership of any CVs, résumés, text, or other content you upload ("User Content").
We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of User Content.
You represent that:
- You own or have rights to all content you upload
- Your content does not infringe any third-party rights
- Your content is lawful and not misleading
5. Payments and Billing (Stripe)
Certain features may require payment.
5.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. TopCV does not store or process credit card details directly. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
5.2 Fees
- Prices are displayed before purchase
- Fees may be subscription-based or one-time
- All prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise
5.3 Subscriptions & Renewals
If you purchase a subscription:
- It will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your account or Stripe's billing portal
5.4 Refunds
Refunds, if any, are handled according to the refund policy displayed at checkout or on the website. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable once services have been delivered.
EU consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights where applicable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload false, unlawful, or infringing content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for spam, fraud, or impersonation
- Scrape or copy site content without permission
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
7. Intellectual Property
All website content excluding User Content, including software, text, graphics, logos, and designs, is owned by TopCV LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

- Employment outcomes
- Continuous or error-free operation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TopCV LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, income, or opportunities
- Employment or hiring decisions based on CV content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TopCV LLC from claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access:
- For violations of these Terms
- For legal or security reasons
- If required by law
Upon termination, your access to the Service may end, and data retention will follow our Privacy Statement.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, mandatory local consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
